Hurricane Isaias Update, October 16, 2026

Recovery from the damage caused by Hurricane Isaias continues in our community.

As part of this recovery, we are providing the following updates.

  • Due to the damage from Hurricane Isaias, we will not add penalties to the water accounts for October.

  • Water service disconnection for non-payment of the past due balance will NOT occur for October.

  • As a reminder, there is NO Boil Water notice for East Milton Water System. The water is safe for use.

  • Our office will return to normal operating hours on Monday, October 19th, 2026.

Finally, we kindly ask that you please be mindful of the location of your water meter when placing debris on the right-of-way for pickup to prevent possible damage from the pick up crews. If it is near debris or already hidden from site, please try to mark it.
